I do not either, glad you quoted him. I asked my mom about it and she said: "Do you know how many times people have predicted the world will end in the 1900's?" The end of the world was based off of a Mayan myth. Actually, it wasn't. Their calender just ended on 2012. So what? Maybe they were around forever, but maybe they just didn't have time to finish. Big deal.

Yeah actually because I saw the movie and it was very true I think Plus who cares anyway because we are all gonna die anyway some way and it is better if we all just die a quick and un painful death.

I actually don't believe in the movie, plus they use special effects and all that. True but this is about how the world ends, and it is just the world ending not human kind. I mean we could move to another planet. I still believe that the world will survive during 2012.

I don't think that the actual world will end in 2012, maybe they mean human population. Like the dinosaurs, you know? It would also probably happen very, very slowly. It would take longer than a year. The entire human population cannot be ended in simply a year! It would take a decade at the least, I think. That is if were to be anything like the dinosaurs.

What I mean is we think that when the world ends, it means we end. Not the actual earth. Do they think we will end in 2012, or the earth with end in 2012.

2012 is just when the calendar ends. I got told by a friend that their grandma (a mayan still) just believes that things won't end, but start over (like our calendar, they will have a year 2 )
