I don't think it will. Nintendo is so popular, and it seems unlikely that someone would buy them out right now.

No, that won't happen until the Nintendo people re-name it, which they probably won't. They are coming out with a new console, 3DS which is a DS that has graphics like the Wii, so that will attract more fans. Nintendo won't go out of business for a while.
